Hello everyone! My name is Kimberly Chicaiza. I’m Ecuadorian and I was born and raised in New York. I speak and write in English and Spanish, even though in Spanish I just forget about the punctuation to make my life easier. My intended major is Electrical Engineering. I gained an interest in this major when I studied electrical installation for 4 years at Queens Technical High School. For example, I learned two years of electrical theory and then the last two years it was hands- on where I was able to install switches, lightbulbs, outlets, breaker panels, etc. My main issue with writing is Grammar because I’m already used to reading my essays once and never go back to analyze and check grammar because of time. I plan on finding a part-time job in order to accomplish my goals while studying like traveling and investing in studies on how to make money, build my credit, and investments. I love makeup, a passion that I grew up with since I was little, my mom has a beauty salon and there’s time I do makeup on people. I just love making my clients feel more beautiful than they already are. Also, gym (I’m trying to commit 100% this year). Additionally, learning to cook, especially dishes from my culture such as Guata and Ceviche.
